Do you follow the curriculum?
At Creative Minds Learning Center we use the Ontario Education Curriculum to help guide our teaching, but do not limit ourselves to it. We use the best elements from it in teaching literacy and numeracy, but also put a great emphasis on outdoor learning, experiential learning, arts and crafts, hands on experimentation, developing caring relationships among other things.

What about bad weather?
Students should come ready to learn every day both inside and out. This means layers of clothing and changes of clothes if needed. Children will be taught how to dress to be in a position to succeed every day. However, in the case of high-winds, thunderstorms and extreme temperatures, there is an indoor school space that has all amenities. In the event that school buses are cancelled due to snow, we will remain open, but parents are encouraged to do what is best for their families.
